Identity Design
SAIC 건축 강연 시리즈의 아이덴티티 시스템은 건축 디자인의 역동성을 기념하면서도 여러 저명한 건축가들의 작업을 조명합니다. 선과 원 같은 모티프를 사용해 건축 속에 내재된 유동성, 정밀함, 그리고 구조와 창의성의 교차를 표현했습니다. 이 형태들은 ‘짓는다’라는 행위의 움직임을 떠올리게 하며, 건축 작업을 정의하는 진화적이고 의도적인 과정을 시각적으로 담아냅니다. 결과물은 자유롭고 예측 불가능하면서도, 동시에 통제되고 응집력 있는 시스템으로 완성되어 건축의 본질을 반영합니다.
The SAIC Architecture Lecture Series identity system celebrates the dynamic nature of architectural design while highlighting the work of renowned architects. Using motifs such as lines and circles, the design conveys fluidity, precision, and the balance between structure and creativity. These shapes evoke the process of “building,” capturing the evolving and intentional nature of architectural work. The result is a system that feels surprising and open, yet controlled and cohesive—mirroring the essence of the discipline.

저는 디자이너로서 이번 강연 시리즈의 비주얼 아이덴티티 시스템을 구축하고, 개념적 모티프와 홍보 자료를 디자인했습니다. 건축적 개념을 추상적인 시각 언어로 변환해 포스터를 제작했고, 정보를 명확하게 전달할 수 있도록 타이포그래피의 위계를 체계적으로 정리했습니다.
As the designer, I developed the visual identity system for the lecture series, focusing on conceptual motifs and promotional materials. I translated architectural concepts into abstract visual forms, creating a poster that communicates the event clearly to the public. Establishing a strong typographic hierarchy ensured the information remained well-organized and accessible.
